What Montoursville, PA Thinks About Lycoming Physical Therapy

I started at Lycoming physical therapy after a ski injury that led to ACL surgery. I limped in to my first appointment feeling already defeated by my newly constructed ACL. Alyssa took over and was great! She kept the exercises challenging but still manageable. She encouraged me when progress was slow, and celebrated with me when my knee started to act like a knee again. I’m back to work now and my knee is able to keep up in a busy hospital in downtown Philly. I can’t thank everyone at Lycoming PT enough for getting me to where I am now! After several months of physical therapy, my ACL and knee are as good as new!  I am back skiing and working -doing everything I want! Great Job!

I was struggling with upper back pain for years. It became difficult for me to complete everyday tasks! Only 2 visits to Lycoming Physical Therapy and I felt significant relief! They provided me with a home exercise program that helps me still today! Highly recommend!

After surgery for a complete ankle replacement, I was referred, by my doctor, to Rob Burger at Lycoming Physical Therapy in Montoursville. I found the experience not only exceeded my expectations but the expertise demonstrated by Rob and his staff was outstanding! Not only was my rehab successful but Rob also took the time to explain every procedure along the way.

The massages and stretches Rob and Tiffany gave my arm made it feel normal again – after I needed plates and screws to repair a fractured wrist. I went in a little scared but came out loving it! I would highly recommend them to anyone! I got back the use of my arm!

I have known the staff at Lycoming Physical therapy for over 15 years. They have been great in easing my back and neck pain so when I hurt my shoulder on the job, I knew where I had to go. I was confident they could ease my pain and restore motion in my shoulder. As a self employed landscaper I rely on the use of my arm daily – I could not lift my arm or even carry a gallon of milk. Rob and his team gave me that relief and I was able to make it back to work and finish out the busy season.

Unfortunately, I wound up having surgery on my rotator cuff as the tear got bigger. However, when asked where I wanted to go for my physical therapy after surgery, I knew where I was going – back to Lycoming Physical Therapy. The pain postoperatively gradually went away readily and I regained full motion in my arm. I am seeing strength gains come back and am ready for the next season.

The whole experience has been great – no problems with insurances, great care, friendly staff. Lycoming Physical Therapy is my choice for physical therapy!

I have received exceptional physical therapy care at Lycoming Physical Therapy on many instances. I have been treated in their facility for recovery after back surgery, total knee replacement, knee surgery and after my back fusion. So when I had right shoulder pain it was only natural to seek physical therapy, personal care from Rob Burger and the team at Lycoming Physical Therapy.

At first I was unable to raise my arm overhead, had pain getting dressed, and pain during my day to day activities. The exercises they gave me, the hands-on treatment quickly restored my full range of motion and strength. Treatment of rotator cuff injuries would have been painful. However, I quickly regained full use of my shoulder without anticipated pain. Treatment was very effective and regained the use of my arm for any activity without the fear of pain.

It was a great experience as the team was friendly and effective. I had no problems with insurance coverage. It truly was a great experience! The best care I ever received.

When I first came into Lycoming Physical Therapy I was getting cortisone shots and looking at surgery on my shoulder for a rotator cuff tear. My doctor told me that it (surgery) was coming soon. I saw the ad on Facebook for the Shoulder Pain and Rotator Cuff workshop and thought I would give physical therapy a try. I went to the workshop at Lycoming Physical Therapy – Montoursville. I was not absolutely sure it would work but I knew that I did not want to have my shoulder operated on!! This is my 6th visit and I am feeling so much better! I now don’t care that my cortisone shot was cancelled due to COVID-19 and surgery is definitely not required!! Therapy worked better than the cortisone injections and I can now use my shoulder – no surgery needed at this time!! Julie has done a great job! The office is friendly and very helpful. PT was great – my motion is great and my strength is good – no surgery yet! Two thumbs up!!
